Cheri Sarmiento is a seasoned mathematics educator with 17 years of experience teaching both high school and middle school math. Known for her adaptability, teamwork, and positive attitude, Cheri excels in creating engaging, competency-based lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.

With degrees in Mathematics Education and Computer Engineering, Cheri combines her technical expertise with her passion for teaching. Her commitment to educational excellence has earned her accolades, including Teacher of the Year (2012) and Superintendent’s Choice (2013) for Mathematics in the Bogalusa School System in Louisiana.

In addition to her teaching roles, Cheri has worked as a middle school intervention specialist, developing individualized instructional plans and implementing targeted strategies to help students overcome academic challenges.

Cheri has been teaching and living in New Hampshire with her family since 2015, where she continues to inspire students and foster a positive learning environment.
